Privacy Policy
How Strata G collects, uses, and protects your information.
Last updated: May 6, 2026
Strata G ("we", "us") provides software for managing business entity structures, compliance, and governance. This policy describes what we collect when you use our website (stratagapp.com) and our application, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account details — name, email, hashed password, and billing information when you sign up.
- Entity data — entities, ownership, agreements, filings, money flows, and documents you enter into the application.
- Communications — messages you send to support, demo requests, and waitlist signups.
Information collected automatically
- Usage analytics — page views, feature usage, and aggregate engagement, via Google Analytics 4 and Vercel Analytics.
- Technical logs — IP address, browser, operating system, and timestamps for security and debugging.
- Cookies and similar technologies — session cookies for authentication and preference cookies for the application UI.
2. How we use your information
- To provide, operate, and improve the Strata G service.
- To authenticate you and protect your account.
- To generate compliance reminders, documents, and reports based on your entity data.
- To communicate with you about your account, billing, security, and product updates.
- To detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
- To comply with legal obligations.
3. Sensitive data and encryption
Some fields you enter are particularly sensitive (for example, EIN numbers and credentials for state filing portals). We encrypt these fields at rest using AES-256-GCM. We never sell, share, or use these fields for analytics or marketing.
4. Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:
- Service providers who help us operate the service (hosting, payment processing, email delivery, analytics). Each is bound by a contract limiting use of your data to providing services to us.
- Legal authorities, when required by valid legal process or to protect rights, safety, or property.
- Successors, in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice to you.
5. Data retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal, tax, and audit obligations. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing hello@stratagapp.com.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, email hello@stratagapp.com from the address on your account.
7. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards including TLS in transit, AES-256-GCM for sensitive fields at rest, hashed passwords, session-based authentication, rate limiting, and access controls. No system is perfectly secure; if we discover a breach affecting your data, we will notify you in accordance with applicable law.
8. Children
Strata G is intended for adults running businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
9. International users
Strata G is operated from the United States. If you access the service from outside the US, your information will be transferred to and processed in the US.
10. Changes to this policy
We will update this page when our practices change. The "Last updated" date above always reflects the current version. Material changes will be communicated by email to active accounts.
